About Me

I am 35 years old and originally from Atlanta, Georgia.  I love to travel, watch movies/docs, write (of course!), paint, shop and try new experiences.

I've loved the written word since the age of six. Once I learned to read you couldn't keep me out of the library. I was so inspired by how powerful words can be, especially how they evoke emotion. I was also enamoured that I had the ability to escape my reality and live vicariously through these characters in the book.

I always knew I would be a writer, and always wanted to be an author. I had no idea what my book would be about but that was something I was sure would come to fruition.

Life inspires me to write quite often. I pull from my experiences, loved ones, friends and even strangers. You can be walking down the same aisle as someone in the grocery store and get inspired, everyone is telling a story if you just pay attention.

I like to think of my work as little seeds of myself. Each article, essay, listicle, book, or review is a representation of my being, and I always want that to resonate and come from a genuine and soulful place.

I like to think of this community as a close friendship. I want it to be a safe haven where you feel free to express yourself and find encouragement.

I am happy to answer questions and give advice. This community is one of positive and motivational energy only.
